I Know That Summer is Just Around the Corner



First of all, yes, I do live on a dirt road and second, no, that isn't my actual road with a snake on it. I did see a snake in the road today. It was dead but the fact that it was out tells me that the reptiles are thawing out and Summer will soon be upon us. Last night was hot and muggy and noisy with bugs too. It's definitely close!

Sorry, that's what I scream and run from everytime I see a snake!
The south is notorious for them. From my Grandpa's porch, in Georgia, we could watch the leaves move up the hill...snake. One of his dogs was killed by a snake. Growing up in Georgia, My Dad stepped on the head of a snake and was also bitten by a snake at a different time. My Grandpa went out to open his shed once and felt this flapping feeling on his legs and he looked down and SNAKE!!! Holy Shit! Watch your step!
